Septic Service Area — Foothills County & Southern Alberta
Where we take jobs
This referral service covers the septic country of southern Alberta: the acreage belt around Okotoks, the towns and rural quarters of Foothills County, and two outlying pockets — Strathmore's Wheatland County surroundings and the Medicine Hat area in the southeast. If your property runs on a private septic system anywhere in the list below, our intake can qualify your job and route it to a vetted local vac operator.
Core area: Okotoks & Foothills County
- Okotoks and surrounding acreages — the country-residential parcels ringing town, where municipal sewer ends and septic begins
- De Winton & Heritage Pointe — the acreage corridor between Okotoks and Calgary's south edge
- Priddis & Millarville — foothills acreages west of Highway 22, including sloped sites with pump and mound systems
- High River — plus Cayley, Blackie, and the Highwood valley, where high water tables raise the stakes
- Black Diamond & Turner Valley — Diamond Valley and the Sheep River acreages toward Kananaskis
- Aldersyde & Longview — the Highway 2A corridor and the ranch country at the county's south end
Extended area
- Strathmore & Wheatland County — Lyalta, Carseland, Speargrass, and the surrounding farmyards
- Medicine Hat & Cypress County — Dunmore, Desert Blume, Redcliff-area acreages, Seven Persons, and Irvine, plus commercial grease trap work in the city
On the edge of the map?
Rural service areas have soft borders, and a vac truck's real range depends on disposal facilities and diesel more than on lines we draw. If you are just outside the places named — say, toward Nanton, Vulcan County, or Bragg Creek — submit the form anyway and tell the intake assistant exactly where you are; the worst case is an honest "too far," and we would rather tell you that in one call than waste your day. Distance can add a mileage charge on far-flung jobs, which the operator will state up front; typical base pricing is covered in the cost guide.
One note for all areas: access matters as much as geography. A property ten minutes from town with a soft, steep approach can be harder to serve than a farmyard an hour out with a gravel pad by the tank. Tell us about your driveway — it genuinely helps.
