Request Service — How Our 24/7 Intake Works
Septic problems do not keep office hours
Tanks reach capacity on Sunday mornings, alarms sound at midnight, and basement floor drains pick the worst possible moment. That is why intake on this site runs 24 hours a day, every day — not because a person is sitting by a phone in Okotoks at 3 a.m., but because our intake is handled by an AI assistant that never sleeps. We say that plainly, here and in the footer, because you should always know what you are talking to.
What happens when you call or submit the form
- The assistant answers immediately and asks a short series of practical questions: where the property is (rural address or land description if you have one), whether it is a home or business, how many bedrooms and occupants, when the tank was last pumped, any symptoms you are seeing, and whether the tank lids and driveway are accessible for a vac truck.
- Urgent jobs get flagged. Sewage backing up, effluent surfacing, an alarm sounding — say so, and the job is marked as an emergency. There is advice on what to do while you wait on our emergency page; the short version is stop running water.
- A vetted local operator gets the summary — structured details plus the recording — and calls you back to confirm price and timing. Routine work is typically scheduled within days; emergencies as fast as the truck can safely get there.
Answers worth having ready
- Your location, precisely — range road and township road numbers beat landmarks
- Bedrooms and occupants, since Alberta tanks are sized by bedroom count
- The last pump-out date, even approximately ("summer before COVID" is genuinely useful)
- Whether your lids are exposed at grade or buried — in winter this can change the quote meaningfully
What it will cost
The operator quotes your job, not us, but typical Foothills pricing is $350–600 for a scheduled pump-out and $600–1,200 for emergency callouts — the full picture is in the cost guide. If you are not sure whether you actually need service yet, the warning signs page and the frequency guide will settle it in five minutes.
The form is right on this page. Fill it in with as much of the above as you know, and the callback does the rest.
